About
Dan Pardock's current day job involves managing IT projects in Des Moines, Iowa. A few years ago (or many, depending on who you ask), he was a station manager at KCUI, Central College's (Pella, Iowa) radio station and always had a passion for voiceover work. He plays and sings in a band and occasionally entertained people with his, "late night jazz station DJ" voice, but that was as far as he took it.
Until now.
In the Fall of 2017, Dan was invited to sit in for the public address announcer at a Des Moines Hoover High School football game - and he was instantly hooked. The overwhelmingly-positive response led to him being asked to take over for many other events as well.
He is honored to be the announcing voice of many teams in Central Iowa, including:
-
the 2021 regular season and national champion Des Moines Menace;
-
the Iowa Phoenix;
-
Central College football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and softball;
-
Hoover High School boys' and girls' basketball; and
-
East High School football.
Dan has experience in announcing starting lineups, general fan announcements, and commercials. He has also produced and run the musical side of many athletic events. He loves to get (and keep) the crowd excited!
